The GT86 Front V2 Lock Kit is a front rack steering conversion designed for high-angle drifting and precise steering control. The kit is manufactured from high-strength steel and offers increased rigidity and durability compared to the V1 version. While slightly heavier, the V2 kit provides improved strength, stiffness, expanded adjustment range, and refined steering kinematics.
Due to the boxer engine layout, the factory steering rack position on the Toyota GT86 is not suitable for extreme drift setups. This kit relocates the steering rack to the front of the crossmember, allowing compatibility with rear-sump engine configurations and custom engine swaps.
