Will the kit fit my 370Z / 400Z without modification?
FXZ34 widens the rear track by roughly 80 mm per side, so on every chassis you'll trim the rear-quarter edge so the wider arch can clear race wheels with negative offset. The rest of the kit fits on factory mounting points and bolts on solidly.
400Z (RZ34): only the rear-quarter edge is trimmed. The trim is permanent but stays inside the wheel arch – the car remains road-legal.
370Z (Z34): the cut is deeper and opens the trunk to the wheel arch. Until the trunk is fully resealed by your body shop, the chassis is no longer road-legal. Most Z34 customers run the build as a track or show car.
What's the difference between Carbon Fiber and Carbon-Kevlar?
Carbon Fiber gives you the lightest weight and the visible carbon-weave finish. Carbon-Kevlar (KV-CF) is a carbon × kevlar layup with much higher impact resistance – the right choice for race programmes. Optimum mixes the two: carbon outer with kevlar reinforcement on contact zones.

Is the kit homologated for my series?
The kit is built for grassroots drift and time-attack programmes. We don't claim FIA / SCCA homologation – final compliance depends on your local series tech regs. Send us your rulebook and we'll go through it together.
Is convertible 370Z (Z34 Roadster) supported?
No. The kit is engineered for the coupe chassis only – the rear-fender geometry and trunk-area cut are not compatible with the convertible.
Will my 370Z still be road-legal after install?
No, not without trunk-area sealing. On Z34 every FXZ34 tier needs a rear-quarter cut, which opens the trunk to the wheel arch. Resealing the trunk is a body-shop job on your end. Most Z34 customers run the build as a track or show car.
What wheel and tyre setup does FXZ34 fit?
Our motorsport reference setup is 18×9.5J +15 wheels (square front and rear) on 265/35/18 tyres, with 30 mm front and 55 mm rear spacers. FXZ34 is engineered around aggressive negative-offset wheels of this kind. Send your wheel/tyre spec on WhatsApp and we'll confirm fitment for your build.
And the 400Z (RZ34)?
On RZ34 you trim only the rear-quarter edge so the wider arch can fit race wheels. The car stays road-legal. The Motorsport tier still needs a deeper rear-quarter cut for the full wide fenders.
Can I install it myself?
Most customers go to a body shop. Hardware kit and step-by-step fitment instructions are included with every kit.
Can I get a discount as a series competitor / team?
Yes – contact us with your team profile. We have programmes for full-season competitors.
